Person Account – Duplicate Component
This article explains how to make use of the Duplicate Component for Person accounts.
The Duplicate Component is essential for identifying duplicate Person Account records and guiding them through different pathways, simplifying data management.
Here’s an overview of the Duplicate Person Account component:
Follow these steps to effectively use the Person Account Duplicate Component:
Start by clicking on “Router” on the left side of the PowerRouter dashboard.
In the Router section, create a new workflow by selecting “Account” as the object type and naming it “Demo Person Account”.
On the workflow canvas, find the blue arrow in the top right corner, and drag the “New Account” trigger component onto the canvas
.
Next, place the “Is Duplicate Person Account” component on the workflow canvas, ensuring it’s connected to the “New Account” component.
To configure the Duplicate Component, click the “Edit” button above it. This component includes a Description field and allows you to manage global preferences for Duplicate Settings by clicking “Duplicate Settings”.
After configuring the Duplicate Component, click “Save” to apply the settings.
Following the save, two paths will appear: “Yes” and “No”.
Add an “Assign to User” component to both paths and provide the necessary details within these components.
To save the entire workflow, click “Save.”
