Person Account – Add Merge Review

The Add Merge Review component is a powerful tool designed to simplify the manual review and merging of duplicate accounts. It allows you to add an account and its duplicates to a review page, where you can thoroughly examine and merge them as needed.


Here’s an overview of the Add Merge Review component:



Follow these steps to make efficient use of the Add Merge Review component:


  1. Start by clicking on “Router” in the left section of the PowerRouter dashboard.

  2. In the Router section, create a new workflow by selecting “Account” as the object type and naming it “Demo Person Account”.

  3. On the workflow canvas, locate the blue arrow in the top right corner, and drag the “New Account” trigger component onto the canvas.

  4. Next, place the “Is Duplicate Person Account” component on the workflow canvas, ensuring it’s connected to the “New Account” component.

  5. After configuring the Duplicate Component, click the “Save” button to apply the settings.

  6. Following the save, two paths will appear: “Yes” and “No”.

  7. Add an “Add Merge Review” component to the “Yes” path and a routing component to the “No” path.

  8. The Add Merge Review component includes a Description field, where you can add descriptive text, and a “Review all the duplicates to be merged at Duplicates page” option that opens the Duplicates Page for reviewing duplicate records.

  9. To save the entire workflow, click the “Save” option.
